Surface finish and strength are comparable or better than available SLS technology in the market. In addition, the properties of products produced with MJF are almost equivalent in X, Y and Z joints. Depending on the product geometry, MJF technology is up to twelve times faster than SLS technology and 27 times faster than FDM technology. You can produce more parts per day with continuous printing and fast cooling.

MJF technology today can supply products in strong PA12 Nylon, the most common material currently produced with SLS technology and PA12 Glass beads and PA 11. But many more materials will arrive in the near future. HP has an open material strategy that enables anyone to develop and certify materials for MJF technology.
